About Us
Discretion Starts With Listening
Learn how Astronastro handles property conversations, viewings and decisions in Rio de Janeiro.
A Real Estate Agency for Practical Decisions
Astronastro works in the Rio de Janeiro property market, assisting with buying, selling, rentals, commercial valuations and advisory. Simply put, we help people find properties that suit their needs and help owners present their properties to prospective buyers or tenants, organising information, viewings and offers along the way. We assist people seeking a new home, those who need to rent and owners considering putting a property on the market. Our starting point is not a long list of listings: it is a conversation about location, budget, timing and essential features. That allows us to explain why one option deserves attention and another may not meet the goal. Communication stays private because personal preferences, negotiating terms and the routine of an occupied property need not be shared beyond those involved.
A Clear Method, With Clear Limits
Since 2021, we have followed a practical sequence: listen to the enquiry, gather available information, distinguish confirmed facts from details needing verification and agree on the next contacts. Before a viewing, we seek to agree on the time, attendees and relevant questions. Afterwards, we record outstanding questions and convey offers with their terms, without presenting initial interest as a completed transaction. The team works from Ipanema and handles enquiries across different Rio de Janeiro neighbourhoods, respecting the particulars of each address and condominium. A market assessment can inform an asking price but cannot determine a future sale price. Nor do we replace lawyers, engineers, registry offices or financial institutions: documents, technical reports, credit and approval of security arrangements depend on checks and decisions by those qualified to make them. Our role is to make those dependencies clear so each person can decide with more context.
Principles Behind Our Work
Clearly Sourced Information
We indicate what has been reported, what has been verified and what still awaits an answer. This distinction helps avoid decisions based on assumptions.
Agreed Contact
Communication preferences and availability for viewings are agreed with those involved, without unnecessary exposure.
Respect for Your Decision
We present alternatives and known terms while leaving room for independent assessment and specialist advice.
